This event celebrates two milestones in Moapa Valley history. The 95th anniversary of The Lost City Pageant festivities which took place in 1925 and the 85th anniversary of The Lost City Museum’s opening. There will be a keynote talk by Clark County Museum administrator Mark Hall Patton at 11:00 on “Drowned Cities of Nevada”. Researcher Georgia Hall will give a talk on early Nevada pioneer history at 12:00. A local cowboy poet will perform in the afternoon . There will be music from the 1920’s played on an authentic Victrola and various kids activities available. Members of The Las Vegas Valley Model A Ford Club will be on site with their vehicles.
